Nalisha and Noral were married in August. They are from the Caribbean. Nalisha graduated from MSU in December. They lived the semester apart, which I know from experience is not fun. Noral stayed in Canada with his family, and I hope they are together living as happy newlyweds now!

fyi - Caribbean weddings are awesome and full of love and happiness!

Wow, I haven't blogged since August! I have a lot to catch up on and I plan to do so over the next few days. But first I'll explain where I've been the past few months! I've been at school, got engaged and then he deployed, put together my senior exhibition, graduated, spent time with family and friends, took some much needed time off, and shot a few weddings in the mix! It's been a really busy time for me lately and now it's starting to slow down.

So, here's what's coming up on the blog soon:

Nalisha and Noral
Susan and Henry
Rick and Shea
Lisa and John (second shot for Meegan Weaver Photography)
Engagemend and the Military
Jessica (maternity)
Janssen and Craig (second shot for Meegan Weaver Photography)
B.F.A. Senior Exhibition
Graduation (and they all rejoice!)
Family
Sydney and Aaron (second shot for Erica M Photography)

So, in that order, that is what will be showing up in the next few days! I haven't been all that busy with photography, but I have had the wonderful opportunity to shoot with two fabulous Wichita Falls photographers recently and I don't have much on my schedule since I am taking some more time off to get things in order and to plan my wedding!!!!!!!!!!

Here's a photo of Seth and his mouse in Qatar in the meanwhile!

Here's one from the wedding yesterday. It was hot out, but otherwise it was a beautiful day for a wedding. Congrats Nalisha and Noral!

I have decided a slideshow might be an easier way for me to post soooo many photos. Enjoy! Check back later for another one!

So, it seems to be that I'm failing as a blogger. There are reasons! I'm just not loving how Blogger does things and it's not easy to post photos, and everyone knows that blogs are better with photos! So, I'm on the search for a new way to blog, and one that is preferably free. So, I will be back, hopefully in the next week, with a new blog and lots of photos! I still have two weddings and a bridal session to share. In the meantime, go back to my website www.lmillerphotography.com and sit through that slideshow! I've recently updated it with more photos!

A photo to make this a bit more interesting!

A little over a week ago I had the opportunity to meet Jennifer and Evan on their wedding day! They are such a gorgeous cute couple and really shine when they are together! They day went really well even with the bright midday sun and high winds we were still able to get some great photos!

I absolutely love to shoot weddings! All the smiles and happy faces, even with any stress, it's always great to see the bride and groom just enjoy each other. Plus it really is great to meet the entire family and all the friends and enjoy such an important day with some really great people.

My friend Mary helped shoot this wedding, and we had a blast! So if you are looking for two photographers for you wedding, just send me and message and we will definately work something out.

Now on to the photos!

They did a "First look" which I highly recommend, it just makes the day go so much smoother! And it's just about the only time you get to spend along with your love the day of your wedding. I LOVE how cute they are! The nose smushing makes me smile everytime! :D

They braved the wind and hot sun for a few photos together.

Just before the reception they did a little dancing in the middle of the street! I guess technically this was the first dance.

On to the reception at the Harrison building.

Jenn's mom took over for her dad so they could have a father daughter dance.

I'm still here and I haven't forgotten about my lil' blog!! I've just been really busy! I made a trip to Disney World and to see my wonderful boyfriend. Then I went to a Photography conference in Dallas for a few days. In between all that I had a fabulous bridal shoot at my grandma's house which was a perfect location for the bride and her dress which just happened to match the wallpaper! After that I was hit by a drunk driver (I'm OK! Car isn't!). Had a week to regroup after all of that and I had a wonderful wedding to shoot yesterday with my friend Mary. I can't wait to get those photos edited. If that isn't enough, I have a trip to Arizona for a ceramics conference next week. Hopefully after that, things will slow down.

Just a teaser, this is where the bridal session was, but I have to wait until the end of the month to post photos from that. Check back for some wedding shots!!
